Mehmet Büyükçiftci, Chairman of the Board of Memet Makina Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş., was born in Konya in 1972. Büyükçiftci entered the industry at the age of 12 and started working at a young age in various companies. He gained experience and knowledge in his field by passing through the apprenticeship and journeyman stages. He put this knowledge into practice by establishing his own business in 1997. When opening this business, he borrowed a tractor from his father, which was valued at approximately $6000 at that time, and used it as capital. He started his business in a small industrial site with an 80 square meter area and a single lathe machine.

Memet Makina has become a leading company in the sector, exporting to 77 countries worldwide with a total area of 40,000 square meters, including 26,000 square meters of closed space, and 180 experienced employees. Viewing his business life as an INNOVATION, Büyükçiftci has ensured that Memet Makina continues to operate in 77 countries today through COURAGEOUS and DECISIVE steps, based on his 34 years of knowledge and experience in the industry. The entrepreneurial spirit of Büyükçiftci is the driving force behind Memet Makina's rapid expansion into so many countries in a short time.

With operations in many countries, Memet Makina aims to be among the top three chocolate machine manufacturers in the world. To achieve this goal, Memet Makina places great importance on R&D activities and makes investments accordingly. By performing reverse engineering, Memet Makina quickly translates its R&D efforts into production. In this context, Memet Makina has produced machines that are the first in Turkey and the world.
